I'm not Irish, nor do I enjoy drinking green beer but I do enjoy dressing up for just about any occasion (as evidenced by me and a co-worker today). Hope everyone had a fun (and safe) St. Patty's Day!
There seems to be 'happy parties' wherever you go Andrea! You're like a little ray of sunshine in every event you attend. I think I might officially live my social life through you now. It all stops with kids! St Pat's came and went here... didn't see any green stuff. Hubby and I spent St Pats day on our honeymoon in Kilarney, Ireland, 13 years ago. I gatecrashed a band in a pub and got to play violin with them (the violinist was a boiler maker by day... with the biggest hands I've ever seen, but boy could he 'fiddle')... they all knew the tune for Waltzing Matilda so I played an Aussie song with them... now that's a St Pats I will never forget! A-M xx
You'll never guess who I have sitting in my lounge room... my friends from Calgary. I have not seen them for 20 years! They have a ski cabin in British Columbia and are scheming to get us over in December, for a holiday. My boys keep making the little one speak as they love hearing his gorgeous accent! He's only 4 but sounds like he is going on 18.. so grown up. Will let you know how our plans go. Am I up for -30 degrees?.. that is the big question! A-M xx
